Two Sundt projects have won highly sought-after Build America Merit Awards from the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America. The Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Building 4 (ISTB 4) – a major research facility construction project built by Sundt for Arizona State University in Tempe – won in the “New Building” category. The State Route 101L HOV Design-Build project in Phoenix, Ariz., built with joint venture partner Kiewit Construction, received the award in the “Design-Build Highway & Transportation” category.
“Sundt is honored to have won these two prestigious awards,” said Sundt President & CEO Dave Crawford. “Build America Merit Awards recognize the best projects in the industry in all areas of construction – from innovative techniques to excellent project management, client service and more. We are very humbled and proud to receive these awards.”
