SALT LAKE CITY (January 22, 2024) – Sundt Construction recently brought on Benjamin Becker as area manager for its Transportation Group. Becker will lead the pursuit, acquisition, administration and execution of projects in the Intermountain Region.
“As our Intermountain Region grows, Ben will be an invaluable asset to our team,” said Jasen Bennie, Sundt vice president and Intermountain regional manager. “We have a healthy backlog with significant planned growth, and Ben brings the skills we need to keep winning work.”
Becker earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin. He started his career in 2005 as a field engineer and worked his way up to regional program manager. Before joining Sundt, he was responsible for growing a new regional office, where he gained extensive experience in business development, managing project pursuits and overseeing project construction.
Sundt is currently working on multiple projects in Utah and Idaho including the Salt Lake City New Water Reclamation Facility and two highway projects along I-15.
