Sundt Welcomes Larry Diaz as Lead Estimator

SAN ANTONIO (July 12, 2017) – Sundt Construction has hired Texas native Larry Diaz as a Lead Estimator. Diaz joins the San Antonio office, where he will help maximize client value on projects through cost estimating as Sundt pursues building projects in Texas.Larry Diaz headshot

Diaz has more than 15 years of experience in the industry as an estimator, project manager and cost consultant. His experience includes national and international industrial, federal government and transportation projects.

He is a volunteer with Engineers Without Borders – Alamo Professional Chapter. Established in 2013, he was a member of the EWB – Alamo’s initial travel team to Papachacra, Bolivia. The team analyzed the community’s existing water distribution system, which did not have the capacity to sustain the growing community’s population. With EWB – Alamo’s assistance, Papachacra implemented improvements to provide safe and reliable drinking water.

Diaz received his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Texas A&M-Kingsville and his Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas-San Antonio.
