Sundt Taps Reidy to Lead Water & Wastewater Group

TEMPE, Ariz. (November 4, 2024) – Sundt Construction announced Sam Reidy as president of its new Water & Wastewater Group.

Reidy brings nearly 20 years of experience to his new role and more than $1 billion of project experience. Most recently, he has overseen Sundt’s municipal water and wastewater market for the western United States.

“Sundt Water & Wastewater is in great hands with Sam at the helm. He has a strong track record of delivering large, complex projects and is committed to building strong relationships with our clients and partners,” said President and Chief Operating Officer Cade Rowley.

Reidy led the $540 million Southeast Water Pollution Control New Headworks Facility for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, the award-winning Ocotillo Water Reclamation Facility in Chandler, Arizona and numerous other water and wastewater projects.

Sundt is a leading contractor in the country for water and wastewater treatment facilities, having completed more than $7.5 billion worth of water treatment construction since 1950. The firm is nearing completion on two large wastewater treatment projects in northern California and has four significant wastewater treatment projects under construction in Arizona, Utah and Tennessee. It is also under preconstruction with El Paso Water for the Roberto R. Bustamante Wastewater Treatment Plant and the construction of a new Advanced Water Purification Facility.
