EL PASO, Texas (October 31, 2019) – Sundt Construction, Inc. has promoted both Matt LeRoy and Jaime Perez to field superintendent and Raul Carrillo to project engineer II. All three are working on Sundt’s Housing Authority of the City of El Paso (HACEP) projects.
“Matt, Jaime and Raul are exceptionally talented and all very worthy of their promotions,” said Joseph Riccillo, Project Director in Sundt’s El Paso office. “They each bring a skillset that furthers our mission to be the most skilled builder in the country, especially in El Paso.”
LeRoy has been with Sundt for nearly four years and been a project engineer on numerous projects throughout the Borderplex. Currently, he is working on the HACEP Blue Flame revitalization project. In his previous role as project engineer, he worked on numerous public housing, government and data center projects. LeRoy holds a bachelor’s in construction management from Arizona State University and an OSHA 30 certification.
Perez has been with Sundt for over five years and has worked on multiple projects throughout the El Paso region and worked previously with the concrete division at Sundt. His experience extends to military, transportation and hospitality projects.
Carrillo has over 10 years of experience in the construction industry and two with Sundt. He holds an associate degree in civil engineering and a bachelor’s in construction engineering and management from the University of Texas at El Paso.
Over the past 10 years, Sundt has completed over a billion dollars in project work in the El Paso region. Currently the company is working on four projects for the Housing Authority of the City of El Paso (HACEP), including the revitalization on the historic Blue Flame building in downtown El Paso. Sundt is also in the process of building Phase 1 on the Eastside Regional Park, part of the city’s Quality of Life bond measure.
