SAN ANTONIO, Texas (November 18, 2020) – Sundt Construction, Inc. promoted Jed Heuberger to preconstruction project manager and Kelton Matthews to cost engineer in its San Antonio office.
“Both Jed and Kelton have been tremendous support for our preconstruction efforts across Texas,” said Joe Strub, Preconstruction Manager for Sundt’s Texas Building Group. “They provide our Texas clients with innovation and cost certainty. I am excited to see their growth in their new positions.”
Heuberger joined Sundt over a year ago as a senior estimator. During this time, he has been instrumental in the preconstruction efforts on numerous projects, including Sundt’s Port San Antonio Innovation Center. Heuberger holds a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering management from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Ore. He is a LEED accredited professional, as well as a project management professional. He is a certified CM-Lean.
Matthews started at Sundt during the past year. During that time, he showed fast growth in his work on Sundt’s Port San Antonio Innovation Center and Tarrant County College projects. Matthews earned his bachelor’s degree in agriculture and applied economics from Texas Tech University.
Sundt has 50 years and nearly $3 billion of project experience in the Lone Star state, with offices in San Antonio, Dallas and El Paso. The company is currently busy in the downtown San Antonio area working on the San Pedro Creek Improvements, Canopy by Hilton Downtown San Antonio and recently completed the new CPS Energy Headquarters renovations. Sundt will begin work on the Port of San Antonio’s Innovation Center in the Fall of 2020.
