Sundt Promotes Blubaum to Operations Manager

TEMPE (Nov 20, 2017) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) promoted Shawn Blubaum to Operations Manager for its concrete division.Shawn Blubaum

As Operations Manager, Blubaum leads operational phase services for the concrete division, including safety, quality, staffing and client relations. He has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He joined Sundt in 2003 as a project engineer and has held the roles of project superintendent, project manager and area manager.

Blubaum’s project experience includes the recently completed Event Center for California Baptist University in Riverside, the Denver Veterans Affairs Replacement Hospital in Aurora, Colo., the Fort Bliss Replacement Hospital in El Paso, Texas and Banner University Medical Center in Tucson, Ariz.

Blubaum is a LEED Accredited Professional, Certified Professional Constructor, a graduate of the Arizona Builders Alliance’s Leadership Development Forum and has his project management certificate from the Alliance for Construction Excellence, an outreach center within the Del E. Webb School of Construction at Arizona State University.   He holds a construction management degree from the University of Washington.
