Vancouver, Wash. (Dec 12, 2024) – Sundt recently added Kenn Hallquist as a project executive to support its Northwest Transportation team. A 26-year industry expert, Hallquist will lead pursuit efforts in the region.
“Kenn brings a wealth of experience in managing complex transportation projects,” said Ken Kubacki, Sundt’s vice president and Northwest regional manager. “His leadership will be invaluable as we continue to expand our capabilities in the region.”
A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Hallquist has an extensive resume managing all phases of the project lifecycle. His experience spans multiple sectors, including urban highways, drainage and flood control, dam construction, tunneling, heavy civil earthwork, light rail transit and structural projects.
Beginning his career as a field engineer, Hallquist rose in the ranks to superintendent and then project manager, estimator and senior project manager. He has a master’s degree in project management from City University of Seattle and is a member of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC)/Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) administration committee.
Sundt has been building critical infrastructure across the western United States for 134 years. In 2016, the company completed the award-winning Sellwood Bridge in Portland and was awarded the Interstate-5 Rose Quarter improvement project in northeast Portland and the Boeckman Road Corridor project in Wilsonville, Oregon.
