TUCSON, Ariz. (April 15, 2016) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) has promoted employee-owner Patrick Dooley to vice president and controller of The Sundt Companies, Inc. and its subsidiaries.
Dooley has more than 23 years of experience in the accounting profession and has spent the last three years as Sundt’s assistant controller. In his new position, he oversees the accounting department and is responsible for the company’s financial and income tax reporting functions. Dooley holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from the University of Arizona and is a certified public accountant. His professional memberships include the Construction Financial Management Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
In addition, Sundt team member Lisette Guevera has been promoted to the newly created role of accounting manager. Formerly Sundt’s payroll supervisor of four years, Guevera has more than 10 years of industry experience, including five as controller for a local contractor specializing in masonry. In her new position, she is responsible for overseeing the general accounting area, which includes payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, job costs and fixed assets. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona.
