TEMPE, Arizona (Dec. 7, 2016) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) earned a Candidate Experience (CandE) Award for its recruiting efforts from the Talent Board last month.
The CandE Awards were given to 50 companies after three rounds of evaluations: an employer survey, candidate surveys and optional video review of key practices or aspirations. More than 180,000 job candidates completed the survey of employers across the country.
Sundt was the only general contractor named to the 2016 list. Several internationally recognized companies also made the list, including American Airlines, AT&T, Delta Airlines, Facebook, General Electric, Lockheed Martin and T Mobile USA.
“We are thrilled to be part of an elite group recognized by the Talent Board,” said Sundt Director of Workforce Development Trevor Gelder. “Sundt’s approach to the candidate experience is leading the way in our industry.”
Sundt was also one of 10 recipients of the “Storytellers” Award. Each Round 2 CandE participant was invited to share stories they believed made their recruiting process and candidate experience unique or interesting. In a video interview, Sundt’s Talent Acquisition Specialist Mike Morales explained the company’s strong employee-ownership culture and the importance of having a team that is accountable for one another on jobsites and in the office.
The Talent Board, a nonprofit organization focused on the promotion and benchmark research of a quality candidate experience, has given the award annually since 2011.
