Sundt Hires Two Superintendents In Texas

SAN ANTONIO (September 26, 2018) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) has added Fred Allison and James Ket to the company’s Building Group, Texas District. Both will serve as superintendents on projects within Bexar County.

“Both Fred and James bring years of experiences in our industry,” said Todd Calder, Sundt’s Vice President and San Antonio Regional Director for the Building Group, Texas District. “Fred’s expertise will benefit our work on the One Riverwalk project. Adding James to our CPS Headquarters project will be an immense help as we start on the rebuild.”

Allison brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He has held positions as an engineer, manager and superintendent on various projects across San Antonio. His experience ranges from hospitality projects to government projects to office space and healthcare facilities. Allison will serve as the superintendent for the One Riverwalk Parking Garage Demolition. He earned his degree in construction management from Texas A&M.

Ket will join the CPS Energy Headquarters team as superintendent, coming in with over 12 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects. His experience includes work on higher education, military and aviation projects across the Southeast. Ket holds a degree in economics from Wabash College.

Sundt has 50 years and nearly $2 billion of project work throughout Texas with offices in San Antonio, Fort Worth, Irving and El Paso. The company’s current projects in San Antonio include the San Pedro Creek Improvements Project, a joint venture with Davila Construction and the new Hilton Canopy San Antonio along the River Walk.
