IRVINE, Calif. (October 3, 2018) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) has added six to the Irvine office of its Building Group, California District.
“These additions to our team will make us that much more successful in the execution of our projects,” said Robert Stokes, Sundt’s Vice President and Irvine Regional Director for the Building Group, California District. “We have seen recent growth in our office over the last year and all of the new hires bring extensive experience in the field and will be very beneficial to each project they join.”
Syed Faizani brings a proven track record in all facets of design and construction planning. He will serve as an assistant project manager on a higher education project for the company. In his previous role, he assisted in the construction activities of a healthcare facility for a government agency in Southern California. A LEED Green Associate, Faizani holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India and a master’s degree in construction management from Long Beach State.
Jim Householder brings over 17 years of experience in the Southern California construction industry. He is experienced in numerous market sectors and project types and will serve as senior project manager on a large healthcare facility in Southern California. Householder is a LEED Accredited Professional and Design-Build Professional (DBIA). He received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Southern California.
Larry Johnson will serve as a senior superintendent for Sundt. Johnson previously worked for other contractors where he held roles involving total project delivery, including financial and schedule accountability. Johnson, who has 48 years of experience in the construction industry, won the 2010 Safety Superintendent of the Year award from the Associated General Contractors (AGC). He holds an associate’s degree in business administration from Azusa Pacific University in California.
With 40 years of experience in a variety of market sectors, David Kerr joins Sundt as a senior project manager for a higher education project. Kerr brings a strong record of simultaneously delivering multiple projects within time and budget constraints in very difficult market and operating conditions. Kerr received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
Dino Macasero’s experience includes education, commercial, hospitality and entertainment projects. Macasero, who joins Sundt as a senior project manager, has worked in the construction industry since 1999 and holds a degree in construction engineering technology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
Kevin Smith has been in the construction industry since 2001. He joins Sundt as a senior project manager and will be responsible for overall project management, including planning and scheduling for the preconstruction and construction phases. Smith is a certified Design-Build Professional (DBIA), a LEED Green Associate and a Certified Construction Manager (CCM). He earned his . in construction engineering management from Long Beach State.
Sundt has over 70 years of project work throughout the state of California. The company has offices in Irvine, San Diego and Sacramento.
