SACRAMENTO, Calif. (October 3, 2018) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) has added Alexandros Gourtzelis to the company’s Building Group, California District.
“Alexandros is a great addition to our team in Sacramento,” said Ed Segovia, Sundt’s Vice President and Sacramento Regional Director for the Building Group, California District. “He brings many years of work in the industry and will provide our team with experience and skills.”
Gourtzelis will serve as the senior project manager on a senior living facility breaking ground this fall. He has worked in the construction industry since 1980 and will be responsible for overall project management, including planning and scheduling for the preconstruction and construction phases of the project.
Gourtzelis is a registered professional civil engineer with the State of California and holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Sundt has over 70 years of project work throughout the state of California. Currently, Sundt is building the Ernest E. Tschannen Science Complex on the Sacramento State campus. The five-story, 94,000-square-foot building will house both wet and dry biology and chemistry teaching and research labs. The company is also expanding, renovating and modernizing Truckee High School and Elementary School, as well as building the new Sunnyvale Hilton Garden Inn in San Jose.
