IRVING, Texas (May 4, 2020) – Sundt Construction, Inc. recently hired Kelly Burnett as its North Texas area manager for the company’s Transportation Group in Texas.
“Kelly’s many years of experience makes him extremely knowledgeable in his field,” said Joe Dooley, Vice President and Texas Regional Director for the Transportation Group. “We’re looking forward to him making an immediate impact with the team.”
Burnett brings over 30 years of experience to his new role at Sundt. He has successfully pursued, negotiated and built work in over 20 states and providences throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico throughout his career. His market experience includes highways, water treatment plants, urban streets and industrial projects. Burnett holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Colorado State University.
Sundt has 50 years and nearly $3 billion of project work throughout Texas, with offices in Irving, Fort Worth, San Antonio and El Paso. The company is working on the Southeast Recreation Center in Arlington, Texas, the Denton County Administration Complex Phase III, as well as the State Highway 31 Relief Route improvements in Corsicana. The company reconstructed Fort Worth’s award-winning West 7th Street Bridge in 2014.
