DALLAS (October 5, 2023) – The Sundt Foundation distributed $13,500 in grants to three charities in North Texas in the third quarter of 2023.
Northside Inter-Community Agency (NICA) received a $3,000 grant to support its mission. The organization, established in 1969, serves the community by providing food, clothing and self-help programming to families in Fort Worth and the surrounding area.
Jacob Way raises awareness for childhood cancer and provides financial and home support for families in need. The nonprofit also supports the research and treatment for cancer, with a focus on progressive osteosarcoma. Jacob Way received $4,000.
Grace Relief and Community Exchange (GRACE) received a $6,500 grant. Based in Grapevine, Texas, GRACE is a nonprofit relief agency that provides food, clothing, financial assistance and other vital necessities to those who are struggling with a limited income or crisis.
The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to North Texas charities that support disadvantaged members of the community. Nonprofits are selected through an application and review process led by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
