FORT WORTH, Texas (March 12, 2019) – The Sundt Foundation awarded a $4,200 grant to Serve Denton during its first-quarter disbursements.
Serve Denton supports nonprofits that open doors for people to become self-sufficient. To help them fulfill their mission, Serve Denton operates two properties where they offer reduced-cost space to nonprofits, helping them lower their overhead and grow their capacity.
“Sundt Foundation is excited to give back to the Denton community through this $4,200 grant to Serve Denton,” said Holly Horsak, the Sundt Foundation’s North Texas region committee member. “To have our Denton County Administrative Building project and our UNT Biomedical Engineering project both down the street from Serve Denton and all that they do for this community exemplifies our company’s purpose, to build environments where our clients, employee-owners and communities prosper.”
Currently, 16 nonprofits operate at the Serve Denton campus. The grant will go towards adding additional space for a health clinic, advocacy center and food pantry.
