CHARLOTTE, N.C. (December 12, 2022) – During its recent giving round, the Sundt Foundation awarded $10,000 to two Charlotte area nonprofits. Charlotte Cirque and Dance Center and Gift of Adoption each received grants to support their causes.
“It is extremely gratifying to be able to give back to our community each quarter,” said Andre Castaneda, Charlotte’s Sundt Foundation board member. “We are constantly looking forward to giving back to the community with each new grant cycle.”
Charlotte Cirque and Dance Center works to inspire people through performance education and will use its grant to create educational opportunities for people to experience the world from unique and artistic perspectives.
With its grant, Gift of Adoption will provide funding assistance to families seeking adoption, connecting vulnerable children to permanent parents.
The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to local Charlotte-area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application and review process led by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
