IRVINE, Calif. (November 6, 2020) – The Sundt Foundation awarded $7,000 in grants to two Southern California nonprofits during its fourth quarter giving round.
“Being able to donate to local charities in the Irvine region in our last quarter is very rewarding,” said Jim Householder, the Sundt Foundation’s Irvine region board member. “We’re proud to support these organizations and help them achieve their mission.”
Laura’s House, which received $4,000, provide clinical, educational and childcare services for disadvantaged youth who have been or have witnessed abuse in Orange County.
Build Futures, which received $3,000, offers housing and job assistance to homeless youth within Orange County. They provide case management programs to guide them through job preparedness to full-time employment and permanent housing.
The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to Southern California area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of Sundt employee-owners.
