SACRAMENTO, Calif. (November 4, 2020) – The Sundt Foundation awarded over $9,000 in grants to four northern California nonprofits during its fourth-quarter disbursements.
“The northern California region is passionate about giving back to the community,” said Madison Jones, Sundt Foundation’s Northern California board member. “Each of these organizations helps a different part of our community, and we are looking forward to seeing how these grants will make a positive impact on their programs.”
Fourth-quarter grants include:
Cake4Kids, which received $2,500, provides birthday treats for underserved children who would otherwise not have a chance to celebrate their birthdays.
Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California received a $2,300 grant to help the organization support families who must travel outside of their community to provide the proper medical treatment for their children. The Ronald McDonald House serves as a place for families to feel safe and welcome, creating a “home-away-from-home.”
