“Being able to give back where we work and live is very important to our local Foundation members,” said Terri Pasley, the Sundt Foundation’s San Antonio region board member. “It is deeply rewarding to be able to expand our donors’ reach, allowing them to achieve more of their charitable goals.”

First-quarter grants were equally divided between the organizations:

The Guardian House received $3,420 to help repair the doors and frames on their facility, giving improved security for children and adults who are caught in high-conflict divorce situations and who are using the facility for supervised visits for their children with non-custodial parents or to have a safe place to exchange children for visitation.

Project Infinity, which received $3,420, empowers individuals in need through therapies that encourage infinite growth and greater quality of life. The grant funds will support weekly low-cost, high-quality specialized group therapy sessions for children with special needs.

Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio received $3,420 to provide a safe environment for children to go home to so they can thrive in education, health and happiness.

SA Christian Hope Resource Center, Inc., which received $3,420, provides an out-of-poverty program for those individuals and families who face chronic food insecurity, health crisis, unemployment and under-employment.

The Sarah Roberts French Home received $3,420 to provide loving and caring quality healthcare to the infirm/elderly of San Antonio. The grant funds will help their ambulatory staging area.

The Sundt Foundation awards grants quarterly to area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of Sundt employee-owners.
