SALT LAKE CITY (August 19, 2021) – During its quarterly giving round, the Sundt Foundation awarded $3,500 to Building Youth Around the World (BYAW).
“It’s great to be able to support Building Youth Around the World and their mission to improve the lives of so many children,” said Jasen Bennie, Sundt Foundation board member. “Their outreach efforts truly make a difference.”
Building Youth Around the World’s mission is to increase the potential for success for youth across the world who lack the means and abilities to learn, grow and thrive in their younger years. The work they do helps children become more productive and giving to the communities in which they live. Building Youth Around the World has since participated in over 100 projects in the United States, Africa, South America, Mexico and many other places.
The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to Salt Lake City-area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of Sundt employee-owners. Salt Lake City nonprofits are encouraged to visit http://www.sundtfoundation.org/ and apply by September 15 for the next grant cycle.
