SAN DIEGO (February 23, 2022) – The Sundt Foundation awarded $18,400 to five nonprofits in the San Diego region during its current giving round.

The Something Special Fund, which received $5,000, was founded by Promises2Kids to provide funding support for life-enhancing activities and services for children currently within the foster care system in San Diego County.
The Autism Tree Project received $5,000 to provide the financial resources necessary to support educational and support programming.
Junior Achievement of San Diego County, which received $1,700, is focused on breaking through cycles of economic inequity by partnering with educators to empower K-12 students with the knowledge, experiences and tangible tools to be successful.
JBS Transition Experts received $1,700 to support its VetCTAP’s innovative workshop series improving the lives of active military, veterans and their spouses or partners.
