DALLAS (June 13, 2022) – The Sundt Foundation awarded $7,500 to three nonprofits across the Metroplex during its current giving round. SafeHaven of Tarrant County, Northside Inter-Community Agency and Mid-Cities Care Corps each received $2,500 grants. 
“Our community needs these inspiring organizations, and the Foundation can help support the difference they are making,” said Barbara Terry, the Sundt Foundation’s North Texas region board member. “For Foundation members, giving back to where we work and live is essential.”
SafeHaven’s grant will support its emergency shelter and supportive services for domestic violence victims through its SafeShelter program.
Northside Inter-Community Agency will use its grant to support the costs of the Circle of Winners program, which provides low-income students who desire to go to college with student mentors, college tour materials and a way to save for college.
Mid-Cities Care Corps will continue its Helping Hands Program thanks to the grant. The program helps seniors maintain their independence.
The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to local North Texas-area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
