SAN ANTONIO (February 23, 2022) – The Sundt Foundation awarded equal grants of $4,000 to four nonprofits in the San Antonio area during its current giving round. Bexar County Community Health Collaborative, Little Flower Catholic School, the Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society and USA Cares, Texas chapter will all use their funding to support their mission.
“We are extremely grateful to be able to give back to these four organizations,” said Chad Yount, the Sundt Foundation’s San Antonio and Austin region board member. “All of these organizations do amazing work at bettering our community around us and we are looking forward to seeing what they will do next.”
Bexar County Community Health Collaborative will use the grant to offer its free, youth-led mental health wellness fair.
With their grant, Little Flower Catholic school will upgrade the technology in the school.
The Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society will be able to continue to fund its vital program service coordinator position with the grant.
With their grant funding, the Texas chapter of USA Cares will be able to provide funding and services to post-9/11 veteran families in the area.
The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to local San Antonio and Austin-area charities that support disadvantaged children and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
