PORTLAND (December 19, 2022) – The Sundt Foundation awarded grants to three Portland-area nonprofits during its latest round of giving. Straight Path, Inc., Todos Juntos and Young Audiences of Oregon and Southwest Washington will all use their grants to further support their causes.
“Giving back to the community here is an amazing privilege,” said Ken Kubacki, Portland’s Sundt Foundation board member and Northwest Regional Director. “The Sundt Foundation allows us to build better communities beyond construction.”
With its grant, Straight Path, Inc. will continue providing mentoring, training and counseling to members of the Portland community.
Todos Juntos supports the academic and social well-being of immigrant and refugee families and with its grant will be able to provide more education, empowerment and community support.
Young Audiences of Oregon and Southwest Washington will use its grant to continue to pair local teaching artists to bring arts and education together.
The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to local Portland-area charities that support disadvantaged children and veterans. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
