SAN DIEGO (Mar. 21 2017) – A $4,000 grant from the Sundt Foundation to VIP NeuroRehabilitation Center for its VIP Scholarship Program will provide 40 hours of free therapy to patients.
VIP NeuroRehabilitation Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in San Diego that provides outpatient care to disabled military, veterans, children and others in need. The center’s focus is on those who have difficulty moving following stroke, multiple sclerosis, brain injury, ALS, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury and multiple traumas.
“VIP NeuroRehabilitation Center would like to say a big thank you to the Sundt Foundation for supporting our VIP Scholarship program, which provides free neuro-rehabilitative therapy for military, veterans and low-income families,” said David Charbonnet, VIP President and patient. “VIP created this program with a goal to never turn away a patient due to financial need and thanks to foundations like Sundt’s, this goal has become a reality. We are honored to receive the support and will specifically be able to offer 40 hours of free therapy through this grant.”
Other Sundt Foundation grant recipients include:
