SACRAMENTO, Calif. (December 21, 2021) – The Parisi House on the Hill and Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance each received a $5,000 grant from the Sundt Foundation during its current giving round.
“Making a difference in our community through the Sundt Foundation allows our employee-owners to live our company’s purpose,” said Madison Jones, the Sundt Foundation President and Sacramento region board member. “We are more than happy to give back and are excited to see the impact these two organizations make.”
Located in Santa Clara County, Parisi House on the Hill helps keep children out of foster care by helping mothers break free from addiction. The nonprofit will use its grant to continue to provide recovery care and treatment to mothers working to break their cycles of addiction.
Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance uses its Family Navigator Program to equip families with the support and necessary resources to focus on the treatment and recovery of their child. The grant from the Foundation will allow the program to reach and support more families and children in the area.
The Sundt Foundation awards quarterly grants to local Northern California-area charities that support disadvantaged children, individuals and families. Nonprofits are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of local Sundt employee-owners.
