The foundation is a charitable arm of Sundt Construction focused on giving back to local communities.
Tampa, Fla. (June 19, 2023) – The Sundt Foundation recently expanded its reach to include Florida as one of its 12 giving areas. The Foundation awards quarterly grants to local nonprofit organizations that support disadvantaged members of the community.
“The Sundt Foundation allows Sundt employee-owners to express our core value of service by giving back to the communities where we live and work,” said Stefanie Teller, the Sundt Foundation executive director.
The Sundt Foundation, established in 1999, allows Sundt’s employee-owners to give back to the places where they live and work. Nonprofit recipients of grants are selected through an application process and reviewed by a committee of local employee-owners. To date, the Foundation has contributed more than $12 million to nonprofits across the country.
“Sundt Construction is rapidly expanding its operations in the Southeast,” said David Rieken, Florida’s Sundt Foundation board member. “Along with our business growth, we are also looking forward to helping our local communities through our quarterly grants and through volunteering.”
Sundt’s expansion in the Southeast region began in 2020 with active projects in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, West Virginia, and Kentucky.
