TEMPE, Ariz. (March 6, 2018) – Two Sundt employee-owners were named Top Young Pros in Engineering News Record’s regional competitions.
Project Manager Scott Miller was recognized by ENR Southwest for his commitment to optimizing operations and ability to lead major company initiatives. Miller joined Sundt in 2006 as a project engineer, and in addition to his regular responsibilities during that time, he worked with the company’s equipment department to optimize fleet operations and supported the company’s self-perform groups. He also led the company-wide implementation of HeavyJob, a job management reporting software for the construction industry.
Miller advanced from project engineer to project manager as he worked on projects including water/wastewater treatment facilities, light rail, highways and bridges and federal government work. His projects include construction of the Northwest Extension Phase 1 for Valley Metro in Phoenix and a runway replacement at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota.
Project Manager David Musch earned a Top Young Professional nod from ENR Texas & Louisiana for his dedication to improving construction processes and outcomes. Musch is the continuous improvement leader for the company’s Building Group – Texas District Texas Building Division and was part of the first group in the country to complete the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Lean Certification program. He is also on Sundt’s Safety Task Force Committee. Musch is working on the CPS Energy Headquarters project in San Antonio after leading the Wichita Falls Independent School District Career Education Center project to a successful completion. He has managed projects that include interdisciplinary education facilities, healthcare, municipal, office/retail and civil infrastructure throughout Texas.
