SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Jan. 16, 2017) – Eric Hedlund, Senior Vice President and Texas District Manager for Sundt Construction, has joined the 2017 Board of Directors for the San Antonio Chapter of Associated General Contractors.
Hedlund has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He has been involved in a number of industry and community groups, including the AGC of America, the San Antonio Economic Development Committee, Arizona Builders Alliance and the Executive Advisory Board for Arizona State University’s Del E. Webb School of Construction.
“I am pleased to join the San Antonio Chapter of the AGC and work with other professionals to fulfill the chapter’s mission to be a voice for the local building industry and to provide resources to our members,” said Hedlund.
The 2017 Board of Directors was installed at a luncheon on Jan. 9. AGC – San Antonio works to promote relations among owners, architects and engineers and general contractors; to maintain high professional standards; to combat unfair practices; to encourage efficiency among contractors; to support contractors and associations and to encourage sound business methods.
