Sundt Construction Welcomes Two Managers in Utah

Salt Lake City, Utah — October 8, 2024 — Sundt Construction welcomes David Cramer as area manager and Jeff Whinham as a project manager for its transportation operations in Utah.

“We are glad to have David and Jeff on our team as we take on more projects in Utah,” said Sundt Vice President and Intermountain Regional Manager Jasen Bennie. “They both bring an extensive background and proven track record in overseeing complex construction projects.”

With over 27 years of experience in the construction industry, Cramer brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in alternative delivery methods, project management, preconstruction and business development.

Prior to joining Sundt, Cramer was a regional manager for a national contractor where he oversaw and managed multidisciplinary teams, contributed to business development, and ensured compliance across various projects. Cramer’s project expertise includes technical bridges, transit, tunnel precast and heavy civil projects. His experience includes the Utah I-15 Reconstruction, Redding Sundial Bridge, Oakland Bay Bridge and the San Francisco Airport People Mover Extension. Cramer holds a Bachelor of Science in construction engineering management from Oregon State University.

Whinham currently supports the Timpanogos Special Service District Lehi-American Fork Outfall project in Utah. He is an experienced project manager and has honed his expertise on water conveyance pipelines and pumping and control facilities. He completed his Bachelor of Science in construction management from Weber State University.
