TEMPE, Ariz. (July 6, 2020) – Sundt Construction, Inc. recently completed construction on the now open Canopy by Hilton Tempe Downtown on East University Drive.
“Our team has gone above and beyond completing this hotel,” said Chandra Reilly, Sundt’s project executive. “They have used innovative solutions on a tight urban site near a fully occupied campus and mixed-use developments. The hotel is part of our transformation of an entire city block in Tempe.”
The 14-story boutique hotel includes 200 guest rooms totaling 136,00 square feet, 3,000 square feet of meeting spaces, a lobby restaurant and a rooftop terrace bar and pool. It is located adjacent to the Union Tempe mixed-use development, which Sundt completed in July 2018.
Sundt is also building the Canopy by Hilton San Antonio along the Riverwalk, which is expected to be completed this year.
