SAN DIEGO, Calif. (October 3, 2018) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) has added nine to its staff at the company’s San Diego office of its Building Group, California District.
“I look forward to continuing to grow the San Diego office with the additions to our San Diego team,” said Ryan Nessen, Sundt’s Vice President and San Diego Regional Director for the Building Group, California District. “They all bring great experience which will be very helpful in our current and future work.”
Keith Acker joins Sundt as a Virtual Construction Engineer. Acker brings experience on commercial and entertainment projects. He holds a B.S. in construction engineering from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, where his primary focus was on lean design, building information modeling (BIM), project management and estimating.
Philip Balistreri joins Sundt as a project engineer. He brings experience on commercial and education projects. Balistreri holds a B.S. in construction management from Northern Arizona University and a minor in business administration.
Edwin Cartagena brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry to his new project manager role. He started in the construction field as a carpenter and has risen in the ranks to his new position. Throughout his career, Cartagena has gained experience on aviation, industrial and education projects. He has earned his California OSHA 30-hour occupational, safety and health certification.
With nearly 20 years in the construction industry, Joseph Davis joins the company as a senior project superintendent. Certified as a LEED Accredited Professional, Davis has worked on a variety of building projects valued at over $500 million. In his new role Davis will establish project productivity goals and measure performance as well as schedule labor, materials and equipment.
Terry Larson joins Sundt as a project safety manager. With 15 years of safety management and training experience, Larson has overseen safety for all phases of multimillion-dollar construction and environmental projects. A BCSP Certified Safety Professional with OSHA 10- and 30-hour certifications, Larson holds a B.S. in criminal justice from Salisbury University in Maryland.
David Paule brings 35 years of experiences to his new role as senior project superintendent at Sundt. In this position Paule will plan, coordinate and supervise field operations. His market sector knowledge includes aviation, education, justice and healthcare project coordination. A Chicago native, Paule moved to southern California in 1980.
Andrew Sullivan joins Sundt as a senior project engineer. He has been in the construction industry since 2005 and will serve projects as the main technical source of information with thorough knowledge of construction documents, subcontracts and purchase orders. Sullivan is a Design-Build Professional (DBIA) and holds a bachelor’s degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona in construction engineering.
Andrew Triggas has over six years of experience in construction management. Triggas joins Sundt as a senior project engineer and brings award-winning project expertise to his new position. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management and concrete industry management from Arizona State University.
Sundt has over 70 years of project work throughout the state of California. The company has offices in San Diego, Irvine and Sacramento.
