NOVATO, Calif. (July 25, 2019) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) started work on Avesta Residences at Hamilton Hill.
“We are excited to start our second project with Avesta,” said Jim Larrieu, Vice President and Sacramento Regional Director for Sundt’s Building Group. “This project will add to our already robust senior living portfolio. Just like our Dublin project, this project will meet the well-being and social needs of our aging population within an evolving senior living market.”
The design-build project includes a four-story building that sits on a nearly four-acre site in the historic Hamilton neighborhood in Novato, California. The 68,000-square-foot facility will be a steel-frame building with a total of 80 assisted-living and memory care residential units. The architect on the project is LPAS. The project is expected to be completed by Fall 2020.
Sundt has over 70 years of diverse project experience throughout the state of California. The company has offices in Sacramento, Irvine, and San Diego. Sundt is currently building several projects in Northern California, including the Ernest E. Tschannen Science Complex at Sacramento State University and the Hornet Commons student housing complex adjacent to the campus. In the Bay Area, the company is building the Hilton Garden Inn in Sunnyvale and the new Shasta County Courthouse in Redding.
