FAIRFIELD, Calif. (April 17, 2019) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) recently participated in a groundbreaking ceremony for The Ridge at Paradise Valley Estates, located at 2600 Estates Drive in Fairfield, Calif. The groundbreaking included representatives from Paradise Valley Estates, Fairfield’s mayor Harry T. Price and Sundt.
“We have a proven track record working with Paradise Valley Estates,” said Mike Whittaker, Project Executive. “It’s exciting to be a part of the next step in their life plan community. We feel this project will meet the needs of residents and contribute to their overall well-being.”
The Ridge is Paradise Valley Estates’ newest eight-acre neighborhood within their 76-acre life plan community. The 180,000-square-foot independent living campus will offer a mix of cottages and villas that will offer full access to the services and amenities of Paradise Valley Estates. The program is slated to open in early 2021.
Sundt completed an expansion of the Quail Creek assisted-living facility at the community in 2017. The expansion included the construction of a new single-story wing and a two-story parking garage. The new wing partially replaced an existing ground-level parking lot. It is combined with redesigned living and dining areas on the bottom floor of the existing building to form the Deer Creek 18-bed, 15,188-square-foot revitalized memory care center. An adjacent 5,500 square feet of plaza space connects the building to the 51-car parking garage.
Sundt has over 70 years of diverse project experience throughout the state of California. The company has offices in Sacramento, Irvine and San Diego. Sundt is currently building the Ernest E. Tschannen Science Complex on the Sacramento State campus, the new Sunnyvale Hilton Garden Inn, as well as the Avesta Residences at Dublin, Calif.
