EL PASO, Texas (August 23, 2018) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) broke ground Thursday on the East Side Regional Park in El Paso.
Phase one of the 92-acre park will include amenities such as an indoor 50-meter lap pool, a recreational pool, splash pad, lazy river, rock climbing wall, recreational center, parking lot, landscaping and the development of the associated streets for the project. This phase of the project is located along Jason Crandall Drive.
“We are excited to build this new park to help enhance the citizens of El Paso’s quality of life through a recreational, cultural and educational environment,” said Joe Riccillo, El Paso Project Director for the company’s Building Group, Southwest District. “We look forward to demonstrating Sundt’s dedication to innovation and collaboration on this project.”
Phase one also includes a soft surface trail loop around the park. This loop will provide access to the northern portion of the park until permanent trail facilities can be developed in the next phases.
