Sundt Adds Two Project Managers in Sacramento

Sacramento, Calif. (January 22, 2025) – Sundt Construction recently added Senior Project Manager Chad Figel and Assistant Project Manager Dallas Garrett in Sacramento to support the company’s Building Group.

Figel joins as a senior project manager, bringing over 16 years of experience supporting large-scale, complex construction projects across markets including healthcare, education, aviation, civic and data centers. He has played key roles in managing challenging scopes, coordinating teams, and delivering high-quality results in fast-paced design-build and construction manager at risk environments.

A former naval supply officer and instructor in the Naval Nuclear Program, Figel holds a Bachelor of Science in human resources management and has completed Villanova University’s Six Sigma Black Belt Program. He also serves as a board member of the Sacramento Regional Builders Exchange (SRBX).

Garrett will support Sundt’s Cal Poly Humboldt student housing project in Arcata, California. Recently, he was the project manager on the $130 million Monarch Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. He has worked on hospitality and commercial projects across Texas.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Sundt has over 70 years of diverse project work throughout California. In the Bay Area, the company is constructing one of the largest projects in the region for the City of San Mateo on its new Wastewater Treatment Plant’s nutrient removal and wet weather flow management upgrade and expansion as well as the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission’s new Southeast Water Pollution Control plant’s new headworks facility. Sundt also has two projects under construction for Cal Poly Humboldt. The company has offices in Sacramento, Irvine and San Diego.
