TEMPE, Ariz. (February 20, 2025) – The Sundt Companies, Inc., parent firm of general contractor Sundt Construction, announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors. Sundt Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Nicole Calamaio and Smiths Detection, Inc. President Inder Reddy joined the board on February 17, 2025.

Calamaio has 30 years of experience in human resources, 25 of which have been in the construction industry. She joined Sundt in 2014 as corporate director of total rewards. Her role soon expanded to include leadership of the company’s human resources function and a promotion to vice president of talent management. She was named senior vice president and chief human resources officer in 2019.
Calamaio holds a master’s degree in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in human resources from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
With over 30 years of experience, Reddy is a seasoned business leader with expertise in strategy, operations and business development. As president of Smiths Detection, Inc., he has led improvement in customer satisfaction and driven year over year profitable growth.
Reddy previously served as chief strategy officer at Resideo Technologies, principal at The Boston Consulting Group and has held senior roles at Honeywell. With a strong technical foundation, including a master’s in mechanical engineering and an MBA from The Wharton School, Reddy excels in driving growth and operational excellence.
With these two appointments, The Sundt Companies will have nine directors representing a diverse range of experience and expertise.
