SAN ANTONIO (September 15, 2021) – Sundt Construction, Inc., hired Chris Leintz, Juan Miranda, Tyler Stewart and Brandon Merecka in its Transportation Group. They will all join the 183 North Mobility project in Austin, Texas.
“Juan, Chris, Tyler and Brandon all bring a unique skill set to the Texas team,” said Chad Yount, Sundt’s Central Texas Area Manager in its Transportation Group. “We’re excited to have each of them join the 183 North Mobility project and share their passion for construction with the team.”
Miranda will serve as construction manager on the joint-venture project bringing over 25 years of construction experience in heavy highway construction management and alternative delivery methods to the team. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Arizona and is a licensed professional civil engineer.
With over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, Leintz rejoins Sundt as a senior project manager with a portfolio of large transportation projects in operations and preconstruction.
Stewart brings eight years of experience working across the country, including the past three years on Texas Department of Transportation projects in Houston. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama.
Merecka interned with Sundt in Phoenix and San Antonio and has joined the project team as a field engineer. He earned his bachelor’s degree in construction science from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
In Texas, Sundt has 50 years and $3 billion of project experience, with offices in San Antonio, Dallas and El Paso. The company is currently working on the San Pedro Creek Improvements, the Broadway Street improvements in downtown San Antonio and the massive I-10 Connect project in El Paso. The firm is kicking off the CTRMA 183N project in Austin, TX.
