Sundt was named one of San Antonio’s “Best Places to Work” in 2013 by the San Antonio Business Journal at an awards ceremony held last week. Only 50 companies were selected for the award out of more than 200 that were nominated.
Why did Sundt stand out? One of the big reasons was our “Going Beyond the Expected Program,” which recognizes employee-owners who demonstrate the key concepts of our corporate strategic vision. Quarterly GBTE winners receive awards and are nominated for the annual GBTE Award, which comes with a $2,500 prize.
The company’s commitment to charitable giving through the Sundt Foundation also helped it earn the publication’s prestigious “Best Places to Work” Award. Since the Foundation was established in 1999 it has given more than $6 million in grants, most of which benefit disadvantaged children and adults.
