Project Overview
Sundt served as the Construction Manager for Golden West College’s Student Services Center project, which included managing, coordinating and directing construction activities during the pre-construction, bidding, construction and post-construction phases. The 50,000-square-foot, two-story facility consolidated multiple service departments into a centralized, one-stop location in the center of campus. The project celebrated the college’s 50th anniversary and reflects the district’s commitment to providing exceptional service to its students.
The project included demolition of the existing Boyce Library, relocation of the campus MDF and site improvements. The new Student Center offers students everything they need. On the first floor is admissions and records, campus life, financial aid, services for students with disabilities, global and cultural programs, and the veterans resource center. The second floor houses academic and career counseling, public assistance programs, community outreach and the transfer center.
