Sundt recently joined students, faculty and staff of the University of California, Merced to celebrate the grand opening of the university’s new Classroom and Office Building 2.
We served as the manager for $41 million education construction project, which included building a 77,000-square-foot facility. The building features classrooms with seating for more than 700 students and aligns with the school’s mission of delivering sustainable, high-quality projects that enhance its campus environment and advance teaching, research and public service capabilities.
In addition to the classroom lecture halls, the building will house dry laboratories, offices and other support spaces.
Sundt’s other projects at UC Merced include the Stem Cell Instrumentation Foundry in 2010 and the LEED Gold-certified Social Sciences and Management Building in 2011.
