Lacy and Khandelwal Join Sundt’s Fort Worth Office

FORT WORTH, Texas (January 17, 2019) – Sundt Construction, Inc. (www.sundt.com) has added Bob Lacy and Sahil Khandelwal to the company’s Building Group, Texas District’s Fort Worth office. Both will serve on the City of Arlington Southeast Recreation Center project.

“As we get ready to break ground on the Southeast Arlington Recreation Center, adding both Bob and Sahil to the team is essential,” said Eric Hedlund, Senior Vice President and Texas District Manager for Sundt’s Building Group. “Both bring diverse experience, which will help greatly in building this project for the Arlington community.”

Lacy brings 40 years in the construction industry to his new position of senior superintendent. He has knowledge in government, education, commercial, healthcare and mixed-use projects. Lacy brings experience working with other local Texas municipalities will be beneficial as he coordinates all activities on the project in southeast Arlington. He holds a degree from Howard College in Big Spring, Texas.

Khandelwal will serve as the project engineer on the recreation center project. A seasoned construction professional, he recently relocated from New York where he served as a project manager on two projects. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Technical University in Indore, India and his master’s degree in construction management from Arizona State University.

Sundt has 50 years and nearly $3 billion of project experience throughout Texas, with offices in Fort Worth, Irving, San Antonio and El Paso. The company is currently working on the University of North Texas Biomedical Engineering Addition in Denton and recently broke ground on the Denton County Administration Complex Phase III.
