Golden West Community College Celebrates Topping Out on Student Services Center

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (April 28, 2017) –Golden West Community College reached a major milestone in the construction of its new Student Services Center last month when Sundt Construction, Inc. placed the last steel beam on the building.

The Student Services Center, designed by tBP Architecture, Inc., will be an approximate 54,000-square-foot facility that consolidates multiple departments into a centralized, one-stop location in the center of campus. The project celebrates the college’s 50th anniversary and reflects the district’s commitment to providing exceptional service to its students.

The next step in the project is to begin placing the decks and framing the interiors and exteriors of the building.

Sundt is also building a new Mathematics and Science facility for Golden West College. Construction for that building will begin this summer.
