Sundt is pleased to announce that construction industry veteran Sean Lynch has been promoted to Operations Manager for concrete construction. Sean has more than 30 years of experience in the industry, 27 of which have been focused on commercial concrete construction. He joined Sundt in April 2013 as Senior Project Manager, and since then has been instrumental in the successful execution of several projects.

What are your responsibilities in your new position?
Helping find good work at the right price and executing it profitably while growing leaders.
Does being an operations manager in a self-perform unit present unique challenges and/or opportunities?
Sundt is a self-perform contractor by nature. Working with builders, rather than construction managers, is nice.
What might you be doing if you weren’t working in construction?
I have tried other things, including retirement for a year, but really enjoy construction. It is extremely satisfying to draw different people together, establish a common goal, and achieve or exceed the goal.

Out away from civilization, when time allows, or working on building furniture at home.

My dad, closely followed by my wife of 27 years, Jill.
