Biography

Pat Bulman has built a reputation as a strong leader in specialized, complex industrial projects. Throughout his 30-year career, he has worked on projects valued at over $1 billion for private companies and large energy municipalities.

After serving as the Director of Projects on a paper machine conversion facility, Pat joined Sundt Construction as its Vice President and Charlotte Regional Manager for its Industrial Group.

A respected leader in the pulp and paper sector, Pat has worked on every aspect of this sector. He knows what it takes to keep the paper plant fully operational. Pat developed a knack for the engineering, procurement of materials and equipment on these specialized projects. His experience includes installing several paper machines both for tissue, towel, newsprint and liner board machines.

In addition, Pat’s portfolio includes an extensive list of process industrial and electrical power generation projects. Under his leadership as site project manager, he oversaw two separate projects for a Fortune 500 energy company. During his most recent project for the company, he led a team to install a new process water facility along with Gypsum processing and bottom ash transport and storage.  He managed the installation of a wet flue gas desulphurization process unit combining emissions of 4 boilers on a different project.

Pat earned a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y., and an associate degree in engineering science from Adirondack Community College in upstate New York.
