Graduation season is in full swing and that includes new craft workers.

Earlier this month, the Pascua Yaqui Tribe held a ceremony for its first Native American Careers and Technical Education Program Facilities Maintenance/OSHA Safety Certification training class and Sundt was there to celebrate the occasion.

The 13 graduates received National Center for Construction Education and Research Core and Occupational Safety and Health Administration certifications. The students ranged in age from 19 to 40.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Michael Morales and Craft Training Manager Sean Ray attended the event to meet new graduates and tell them about potential careers with us. Sundt was among several employers there, including casinos, staffing agencies and the University of Arizona.

NACTEP provides grants to federally recognized tribes, tribal organizations, Alaska Native entities and eligible Bureau of Indian Education-funded schools to improve career and technical education programs.

With a 126-year track record of success, Sundt is a great place to start or continue your career as one of our employee-owners.
