INDUSTRY-LEADING OPPORTUNITIES
By strengthening our workforce, we strengthen the Valley’s infrastructure.
Investing in our people means giving them the tools and confidence to succeed in their careers. Sundt’s commitment to training takes center stage at our KAPBCS Training Center Campus, home to our in-house training and apprenticeship programs. From perfecting their welding skills and learning advanced form carpentry at the Center for Craft Excellence, to developing high level management skills and mapping their career, the campus houses equipment and technology for hands-on training for administrative and craft professionals.
COMMUNITY PARTNERS
Creating prosperity in our communities means investing our knowledge, time and resources.
Our employee-owners are experts in their fields; they are active participants in industry groups, hold positions on educational boards and advocate for policy change. Integral to our commitment to Arizona’s business community is our longstanding relationships with local trade partners. In the same vein, our employee-owners make it their mission to engage regularly in charitable giving. We live out our core value of service via philanthropic efforts in monetary donations and grants given by the Sundt Foundation and in active volunteer hours, filling needs as they arise.
BUILDING PHOENIX
Sundt has called Arizona home for over 100 years, contributing to the growth of the state in iconic projects and notable landmarks.
From relocating the London Bridge to Lake Havasu in 1971 to widening the Red Mountain freeway in 2010, and building Phoenix’s largest single clean water investment in Arizona history in Gilbert, we serve the valley with our diverse and innovative skillset. As a 100% employee-owned company with a progressive safety program, our people remain at the heart of what we do, and our hope is to extend this same commitment to the people of Phoenix. While our company has grown, we’ve never lost sight of delivering projects with the skill, grit and purpose our founder M.M. Sundt—a builder through and through—prioritized.
