DALLAS, Texas (March 4, 2025) – Sundt Construction is pleased to announce that Justin McCain has joined its Transportation Group as a project director. Justin will play a key role in identifying, pursuing and securing new contracts in Texas.
“Justin brings a wealth of experience in heavy civil construction, business development and contract administration that will be key for advancing our goals in Texas,” said Senior Vice President Joe Dooley.
McCain holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management from Everglades University. His expertise spans across the heavy civil sector, including roadways, bridges, tunnels, underground utilities and mass excavation.
Throughout his career, McCain has led and delivered some of the most complex civil projects, including the $1.5 billion SR-99 Tunnel project in Washington. Before joining Sundt, he excelled in negotiating and managing alternative contract delivery projects. Most recently, McCain served as a director for the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, where he provided valuable industry service and advocacy to increase concrete market share throughout the state of Texas.
For over half a century, Sundt has been building critical infrastructure throughout the state of Texas. The company has delivered nearly $3.5 billion in work across the state. Sundt is currently constructing Segments 2 & 3 and Segments 4 & 5 of Corporate Drive for the City of Lewisville and has multiple projects underway with the City of Denton. The firm has offices in Dallas, San Antonio and El Paso.
