PHOENIX, Ariz. (April 7, 2025) – Nearly 300 golfers raised $230,000 for Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC), a nonprofit committed to supporting individuals with autism and their families, at the Sundt Foundation Charitable Golf Tournament, hosted at Grayhawk Golf Club on April 4.
“Our employee-owners are passionate about improving the lives of youth in our community, the Foundation’s largest cause area. That’s why we’re honored to support SARRC and the meaningful work they do for families across Arizona. We’re proud to bring our industry and community together to benefit this incredible nonprofit,” said Emily Dwosh, Sundt Foundation executive director and Sundt community relations manager.
“We are truly grateful to the Sundt Foundation for selecting SARRC as their charity of choice,” said Daniel Openden, Ph.D., BCBA-D, and SARRC president and CEO. “The funds raised during their annual tournament, along with the vital awareness they generate, will directly support the children, teens, and adults with autism we serve.”
Sundt employee-owners, construction industry partners, and community leaders gathered for a day of friendly competition and charitable giving at Grayhawk Golf Club. Proceeds from the event directly support SARRC’s programs, services, and ongoing research, helping to create a more inclusive and supportive community for individuals living with autism. Annual sporting events hosted by the Sundt Foundation across its regions have raised more than $2.6 million for local organizations.
The Sundt Foundation is funded primarily by donations from Sundt employee-owners, with matching contributions from the company. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded more than $17 million in grants to community organizations across Sundt’s geographic footprint.
